D-type joining-shackle is made to join two lengths of chain. In order to fit the chain this shackle require studless endlinks at both sides. This shackle does not fit the gypsy and was therefore made absolute when the kenter-shackle was introduced.
Joining shackles Type D ready in stock in most sizes from dia 12,5 mm up to dia 137 mm.
Available in grade 2, 3 and 4.
